This image was shot on Chilkat glacier off Skagway in Alaska in 2007. It was my first time going on an excursion like this and it was like being on a different planet. There is no sign of life on the horizon and the strong sunlight bouncing off the silvery snow from all directions is blinding to the naked eye.
